Importance of hygiene when bottle feeding

Good hygiene when bottle feeding is essential not only because you are dealing with a baby but because babies are susceptible to infections from bacteria and milk is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria which can cause stomach upsets, diarrhoea etc.. so it is fundamental that parents sterilise bottles and teats before feeding their baby and maintain clean and sterilised worktops and tables.

If mothers choose not to or cannot breastfeed for medical reasons it is important that they are aware of the most appropriate formulas available to them that may suit their baby.

Cow&Gate infant milk formulas are closest to breastmilk. Cow&Gate has a formula to suit every bottle fed baby. Not all formulas are the same and cannot offer the immune system benefits of Cow&Gate infant formulas.
